Diving

The dive base and school of Extradivers is lead by the Swiss and is situated directly on the bay beach. We offer a comprehensive service, starting with accompanied diving to the 2 km (1 ˝ mile) long house reef and different other dive sites in the area with dive boats. Nitrox-diving is available as well as diving lessons in PADI, CMAS and IANTD.

Dive ground

Over 2 km (1 ˝mile) long house reef with a variety of “get in points” from the beach or with the boat. The sandy bottom, sea grass beds and coral gardens offer beauty and fascination both close-up and at a distance. Different kind of dive trips with the boat to the Island Pombo Booi, Moana and Nusa Laut etc. The journey takes between 15 and 45 minutes.

Dive opportunities

Diving at the house reef accompanied or unaccompanied in the day and night. Various boat dives and daytrips with 2-3 dives.

Equipment hire

All equipment can be hired, subject to prior arrangement.
12 and 15 litre aluminium tanks INT / DIN.

Dive education

In accordance with guidelines of PADI, CMAS and INTD, in German and English

Safety

Fully trained Staff and Emergency case complete with oxygen system is carried on the dive boats and also available at the dive base. Decompression chamber is available in Ambon.
